Natural Stone and Tile offer one of the most durable, long-lasting, and maintenance-free flooring options in the world. The price of travertine and granite have decreased significantly over the last few years, making it an affordable option for many homeowners. Surprisingly, many of our natural stones are comparable or lower in price than some of our porcelain tile. Ceramic tile remains the most economical option. Though it does not offer some of the properties of a through-body porcelain or natural stone, it’s a good choice for many home and business settings. Keep in mind that although you can buy tile at very inexpensive prices, the installation and labor involved in setting these tiles does not change. Much of the cost of tile and stone is in the labor.
